Playing the recorder is a fun sociable activity, whilst being relatively inexpensive and a great entry point into reading and playing music. 

We run two groups:

A Starters group – who are learning to play the descant recorder and read music following a published method.
There are still spaces on this group to start a new course in September 2026.

An Improvers group – this is last year's Starter group who are now progressing their music and playing skills together.  This group is unable to take new members.

A Recorder Players group can also be arranged for new or existing members who already play recorder, and would like to play with fellow members at a mutually convenient time.
