We are a small group who enjoy exploring and reading plays together. We meet virtually via video conference, and it is likely to remain that way for the foreseeable future.
We cover a wide variety of plays and playwrights, and some examples of plays we have read recently are:
• The Birthday Party by Harold Pinter
• An Inspector Calls by J. B. Priestly
• The Seagull by Anton Chekov
• A Chip in the Sugar by Alan Bennett
• Life Begins at 70 by David Muncaster
• The Constant Wife by W. Somerset Maugham
• The Daughter of Time by Josephine Tey
• Cheaters by Jean-Pierre Martinez
• Days in the Trees by Marguerite Duras
If anyone is interested in joining our virtual group, please contact the Group Leader. Also, if anyone would like to express an interest in joining us when we return to face-to-face meetings, again, please contact the Group Leader.
