The Gardens and Things Group is all about enjoying outings to interesting and unusual places in and around Suffolk. We typically organise outings between April and September each year, generally on the third Thursday of the month.

Unlike other Interest Groups, we don’t have a formal group membership, as our trips are open to every Stowmarket u3a member.

Previous trips have included Gainsborough House in Sudbury, Pakenham Water Mill, a walking tour of Ipswich Historic Waterfront, Bawdsey Radar Museum, Fullers Mill, and most recently the Yum Yum Tree Fudge factory in Woolpit.

Upcoming trips are planned for Sandringham Estate (August) and Flatford Mill (September).
