This thriving group is all about exploring art through gallery visits and group discussions. Our programme alternates between visits and meetings on a monthly basis.

Recent visits have included Christchurch Mansion in Ipswich, the Sainsbury Gallery in Norwich, and Tate Britain for their Constable and Turner exhibition. Although we try to visit as a group, there is flexibility for group members to visit at a different time.

At our monthly meetings we discuss the preceding gallery visit, which often highlights interesting differences in what we each see in the same painting. We also have a brief talk by Anna on a particular aspect of art, recent examples being Tonal Value and the Elements of Composition.

This group is currently at capacity, but we can put anyone interested in joining on our waiting list.
